The Thoughts About AI From a Çinko Karbon Vatandaş

In What Areas Have Mobile Phones, Computers and the Internet Helped People and Made Our Lives Easier ?

We firstly discuss about this topic in our classroom and we had a lot of different ideas. Here are the results (Dont mind the bad resolution I will list them in the below)

The Fields That (We Thought) Phones, Computers and The Internet Are Making Our Lives Easier

-Communication          -Getting Information           -Cooking                         -Health

-Entertainment             -Shopping                            -Learning Languages      -Education 

-Traveling                    -Transportation   

Lets select few of them and widen what we thought about.

Communication

                 

Communication is one of the basic human needs. It exist since the existance of human being.  By the time the way we communicate evolve with us. In the beginning we were just using noices,  then languages came. We started to make complicated sentences and grow more friendly relationships. Then we learned how to write and used it to send a latter to our loved ones who is away from us. For centuries we write and wait for a reply. That was the only choise back then. But mankind didnt contented with what he had. He invented telegraph but its ephemerae. Humankind was unabled to slow down. Just 41 years later of  the invention of the telegraph humankind invented the telephones.

Telephones are making easier every way of communicate when it compares to latter and telepgraph. It is fast , cheap and accessiable every corner of the world. With the tecnology that continuing to develop, only time will tell what will be see in the future in the name of communication.

Entertainment

 

In old times if there is an event or gathering, you have to move there phsically. With the development of technology you can gather online and do your events in the internet. You can watch movies or series together in watchparty , you can play games online while speaking from skype/discord/teams speak or you can use then to just talk about how was your day.

With the internet acces, you have almost unlimited sources to entertainment . Personally I am prefering watching animes and reading books (from pdf ofc in this economy you cant spend your money to your hobbies anymore, especially if you are a student) in my free times. It depends on what you are enjoying with really buy like I said with the acces of internet you have a lot of options to not to bore yourself.

Cooking

I love cooking a lot ! Even if I couldn't make delicious meals they are ok to eat. I love the cooking process actually. I am enjoying doing the recipies while listening the music and dancing. I often sing  with music too.They weren't really happening if there was no internet. I like to do the recipies that I saw in the internet. The traditional meals are good to but they are not fun to make it. I didnt feel the same fun making lentils as I did making lasagna. 

There are many recipies that easy to make. Sometimes I poke my mother while she is relaxing in the sofa to make recipies that I saw in the internet. I am creating new mother-son times and normally she dont like cooking but when I 'm involved, we are singing and dancing together while doing it. All thank to internet and its easy accesable recipies.

Transportation    

The Internet really makes it easy to go new cities.You can wander around whitout getting lost. I moved in Ankara approximately 1 mounth ago. Thanks to the transportation applications I nevet got lost in Ankara even though I didin't live in it before. You are selecting where you want to go and it shows you what kind of transportation you have to take to go there. In my first attempt to go to school from my dorm it helps really much. I didnt even have to talk someone about where should I go. With the internet and the transportation applications we conquer the lands even without going there.  

Learning Languages

I have been studying english for nearly 10 years ! And most of the credits goes for not school but internet and online friends that I make in it. Languages are not like any other lesson you can just sit in front of it , memorizing it and finising. You have to use them. You have to not just memorize but type and use while speaking. If I dont have internet, I probably dont use it in my daily life because no one around me was trying to learn a new language. With internet access I had a lot of friend and I find new communities to spend time with and improve my language.

In the End

Internet is helping our daily life in a lot of field and making our lives easier at the same time. Thanks for reading till the end and see you in my next vlog.
